Standardized Options.
While Parry Windows & Doors is known as a custom window and door manufacturer we are now also offering a line of lift and slides, allowing us to keep our prices highly competitive. These windows and doors will be made to our high standards with no compromise on quality.
The lift and slide door and window system is the best way to open a house to the light and to the views. With one turn of the handle the window panels lift up onto wheels to roll effortlessly on tracks. Here at Parry Windows & Doors the lift and slide has been perfected by our experienced staff. We live and work on Martha’s Vineyard so we know the realities of coastal New England weather. We use the most comprehensive lift and slide weatherstrip and interlock systems along with our own innovations. Our doors and windows are leak proof and airtight: you cannot find a better product or value on the market. Since our shop is in Chilmark, we are available for maintenance. We use solid wood and slot and tenon joinery. All glass is set in neoprene tape and wet glazed with silicone. We use only stainless steel and anodized aluminum hardware.
Our standard lift and slide sash are 57 mm or 2 1/4” thick. We can also provide 68mm, or 2 11/16” thick with 1 1/8” thick argon insulated glass and a low-e coating, giving a U value of .24 or R-4. Lift and slides are double weatherstripped making them one of the best designs for energy efficiency.
The larger units can be assembled on site. Parry Windows & Doors can also do installation for an hourly rate. We offer free shipping on-island. No job is too big or too small.
